This item is a refill component for Pilot’s popular Hi-Tec-C Coleto product line. A separate Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto pen body (sold separately) is required.

The LHKRF-18H5 is the 0.5mm mechanical pencil cartridge to be installed in Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto pen bodies (sold separately).

To use, install the mechanical pencil cartridge into the Coleto pen body. Press down on the cartridge cap to extend the lead from the spring-loaded tip while in the Coleto pen body.

To refill with pencil lead, remove the cartridge from the Coleto body and point the tip up. Carefully pull off the tip where the plastic part of the tip meets the metal tube body. Refill the metal tube body with 0.5mm diameter pencil lead. Carefully re-attach the tip and install into the Coleto body.

NOTE:
When installing Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto components, make sure to line up the small fins on either side of the component’s plastic push button with the grooves on either side of the component slot in the pen body.
